The weaving mill Van Den Broucke N.V. was founded in 1951 by the father of the current manager.
In the first years the mill produced upholstery velvets mainly for Belgium and Germany. Over
the years the export expertise grew, U.K and United States, and in the mid-80's the entire
activity was switched to the weaving of artificial silk rugs. Currently the production consists
mainly of viscose (artificial silk) and cotton based rugs.
Thanks to the investments in looms equiped with electronic jacquard machines and a CAD/CAM system,
we've created a variety of possibilities. A staff of thirty co-workers assures the quality standard. They are divided through the whole production process.
